Aim of this study was to point out to the significance and need of early introduction of rehabilitation procedure in the patients treated for malignant disease which resulted in shoulder joint disorders. Application of correction positions and early initiation of therapeutic exercises, prevent development of shoulder contracture, pain and disorders in function. The syndrome of painful shoulder less frequently occurs in the patients included in early postoperative rehabilitation program. The process of rehabilitation in these patients has been significantly shorter than in the patients who have not been administered therapeutic exercises in the first phase of malignant disease treatment. Keeping up normal function of the shoulder joint make such patients less dependent of the other‘s people help, positively influencing on their psychological status. |
