2000 - Videoconferences in purpose of student's and doctor's education
(specialization, master and PhD studies)

6th April 2000 -
Videoconference via ISDN: video transfer of laparoscopic oncology
surgery from General hospital in Subotica to Oncology Institute
of Vojvodina in purpose of consultations, diagnostics and education

during 2000 - providing
teleoncology services (primary healthcare) by official website of
the Institute, enabling women to perform breat self-examination
using guide with text and pictures.

Development of telepathology
in cooperation with the Faculty of Technical Science Novi Sad, University
of Udine, Italy and University of Heidelberg, Germany and other
health institutions

Development of teleradiology
in cooperation with partners who developed and implemented IHBIS
(Integrated Hospital-Business Information System) at the Institute,
the Institute founder (The Government of Autonomous Province of
Vojvodina) and other health institutions from Serbia

Development of teleoncology:
further promotion of cancer prevention by education of citizens,
specially citizens from regions that are extra vulnerable to cancer
(it is allready presented on our website with color atlas of the
5 most frequent cancer localizations in men and women in the provence
of Vojvodina)

Development of telecaree
(psychological support and therapy (rehabilitation after surgery,
pain management...)) for oncology patients using Internet for communication
between doctors and patients and website of the Institute.
