  ABSTRACT
Since 1980' a great interest in biologically inspired systems has been seen among researchers developing new computer technologies, both in software and hardware. Bering in mind that biological systems are based on molecular level, than molecular biology based on DNA, proteins and water play crucial role for making biomimicry for nanaotecnnology. However, today, our knowledge in molecular biology is more oriented to chemistry than physics. For nanotechnology and nanomedecine it is important to make on right way coupling these two approaches. In paper we present current status and discuss possible future directions of physico/chemical approach in nanotechnology and nanomedicine.
Keywords: DNA, proteins, water, biomimicry, nanotechnology, nanomedicine
