EXCITONS IN MOLECULAR NANOSTRUCTURES

  ABSTRACT
The exciton Green function of molecular nanostructures was calculated. Using this expression we analysed the diffusion tensor of excitons. As an illustrative example the molecular film with four layers was used. It was shown that in such film excitons appear in two layers only. So we have, for the nearest layers, two subfilms. In the subfilm for layers denoted with nz=0 and nz=1 the diagonal terms of diffusion coefficients differ from diagonal elements of diffusion tensor in the subfilm whose layers denoted with nz=1 and nz=2. In this way it was demonstrated that in broken symmetry structures diffusion coefficient depends on spatial coordinates.
