Cancer Registry of Vojvodina:
It is run by Department of Epidemiology.
Cancer Register (it is of population type) was founded in 1966 and covers population of about 2,000,000 citizens.
Methodological support at the field of malignant diseases registration for oncologic dispensaries, institutes of public health, and other medical institutions at the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
Active cooperation within the membership: International Agency for Cancer Research, MAIR, WHO (Lion, France), International Association of Cancer Registries, MARR.
Epidemiological data on incidence and mortality can be found at the European Network of Cancer.
It is included in the Project of Registries - EUROCIM (the European Cancer Incidence and Mortality database).
Software REGMAN, for management of the cancer registry was developed by the Computer Center of the Institute. This software has been in implementation since June 1991, and the updated version REGMAN 2.0 since February 1996. The database contains data from 1981.
Cancer registry data are last updated for year 2012 and since that year Cancer registry of Vojvodina was not managing data any more.

Presents standardized incidence and mortality rates per municipalities in Vojvodina for the 5 most frequent localizations of malignant diseases..

Concept: Standardized incidence/mortality rates (per Vojvodina population) of 44 municipalities were divided into 7 classes; 3 higher classes were represented by red colors: red, dark orange and orange (red for the highest values of the incidence/mortality rates) respectively, medium class was presented by the yellow color, and 3 lower classes were represented by green colors: dark green, green and light green (dark green for the least values of the incidence/mortality rates). The red class includes 5 municipalities, dark orange also 5 municipalities, orange 7 municipalities, yellow 10 municipalities, light green 7 municipalities, green 5 municipalities and dark green includes 5 municipalities.
